Secretary, Sindh Education and Literacy Department visited Sukkur IBA University

Secretary, Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, Mr. Ahmed Bux Narejo visited Sukkur IBA University on October 06, 2020 and held a meeting with University Management to discuss and devise strategies for the recruitment of teachers at Government Schools. The honorable visitant was received and welcomed by the Management of the university. Prof. Dr. Sher Muhammad Daudpoto, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) briefed the guest about initiatives and developments taking place at Sukkur IBA University. Registrar Sukkur IBA University, Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand briefed the guests about the projects and functioning of SIBA Testing Services (STS).

Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, Prof. Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah exchanged views with venerated guest on different avenues of collaboration encompassing the transparent recruitment of teachers in Sindh. The Vice Chancellor committed to extend his full support to initiate and run a fair and transparent recruitment process for Sindh Education and Literacy Department to ensure the induction of qualified teachers. Expressing his views on Tuesday, Prof. Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah said that teachers perform a key role in the development of a society based on decades, and therefore the induction of qualified teachers on meritorious grounds is a need of time. The Vice Chancellor expressed his gratitude to the Government of Sindh for investing their trust on Sukkur IBA University and said that Sukkur IBA University will continue to render its community services to ensure transparency of the process.

Mr. Ahmed Bux Narejo offered Fateha at the grave of late Prof. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, founding Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University.

The honorable Secretary visited campus facilities along with officials from Sindh Education and Literacy Department and commended the initiatives taken by Sukkur IBA University and SIBA Testing Services.
