A four-day training camp was organized under the auspices of Dia Women’s Football Club in collaboration with Football for All Girls Power Denmark at Mushtaq Memorial Football Ground Mukli-Thatta. Around 30 Girls from age 10 to 16 attended this Camp. Aside football the Players were briefed about Covid 19 and Food and Nutrient. Red beat Blue by one goal in a football exhibition match in which Sobia scored the only goal. The special guest of the closing ceremony was DO Sports Sharif Gujjar. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the training of girl football players from backward areas is commendable.
There is a lot of football talent in the country. Head Coach Community Girls Mehran FC Fatima Abdullah said that the organization of the camp has encouraged the players. Mehran FC Treasurer Brohi Ali Asghar said that football players of Sindh are very talented, their skills can be enhanced through training of good coaches. Sadia Sheikh, founder and president of DWFC, said that camps will be set up in other districts of Sindh as well and talent will be discovered. Besides, Khuda Bakhsh Pirani (DDSW), Muhammad Safdar (Senior Physical Teacher), Rukhsar Rashid, Ali Asghar Brohi, Ali Athar Naqash Brohi and others also attended the function. Earlier, uniforms, bags and footballs were also distributed among the players.
